REHOMED!! - Hermanns : Female - Appx 6 years old (Porsche)
Porsche is a female Hermann's tortoise approx 6 years old currently located in New Eltham, London.
Porsche initially lived in a vivarium until it was realised that vivs are unsuitable for her. She now lives on a open topped tortoise table but Porsche is getting quite restless preferring a larger space to enable her to roam.
Porsche receives a more natural diet in the summer.
She has never hibernated.
Looking to rehome Porsche to an experienced keeper where she can live among a group of Hermann's after quarantine.
Travel assistance is available within 50 miles of London.

REHOMED!!! Hermanns : Male - Mature (Freddie)
Freddie's current keepers have had Freddie for the last 35 years. He was given to them because he used to attack the other two tortoises he was living with. His current keepers have said that Freddie is a bit of a character and is quite entertaining. The person that ultimately receives this tortoise must have previous knowledge of looking after them, must have a fully enclosed garden with considerable space to allow him to roam.
They must also know when to put him into hibernation, Freddie has been hibernating usually from mid October to mid March.
Freddie will chase shoes, lawn mowers, and walks straight through cats. He has a high sex drive (although has never mated), and spends a lot of the day making amorous advances to a flower pot with serrated lumps in it. As he has had this flower pot for circa 30 years the current keepers insist that pot has to go with him:-)

We are looking for a very special home for Shelby.
Shelby is a Female Hermanns approximately 10 years old
Shelby:- is slightly different because she had a traumatic accident last summer. She was in the garden and devastatingly a neighbours dog jumped the fence and began to chew her, as a result of this she has parts of her shell missing around the back end. After medical attention and she is now fine and whilst the edges that were chewed by the dog have repaired, the missing shell will never grow back.

REHOMED!!! - Leopard Tortoises x 2 : Thought to be Male & Female - appx 10 & 12 years old (Val & Vern)
Val and Vern are two Leopards. Val is appx 10 years old and Vern is appx 12 years old
The owner of Val and Vern wishes them to remain together and not be entered in to any breeding programs what-so-ever.
Val tends to be the bossy one. Vern has a mis-shapen carapace. The vet clipped a little of Vern's shell at his bottom to minimise risk of infection due to the shell not forming properly which has left an exposed area. We are pleased to say Vern has never had any problems.

Woody aged 12 years and Bailey aged 5 years are both available for rehoming, preferably together.
Both are tg Ibera and are currently located in Reading, Berkshire.
No known health problems, but Woody has some shell damage due to dog attack, prior to the current keeper taking him on. They have both lived together for a numbers of years with no problems.

REHOMED! - Spur-Thighed Tortoise (TGG) : Female (Dolly)
Dolly is a very sweet elderly North African tortoise, probably Moroccan. She has
been with her current keeper since 2004. She is not suitable for breeding due to
her age and should be kept on her own due to the fact that she had a bout of RNS
in 2008. She has been clear since then and has a healthy appetite. She is a very
quiet, gentle tort who likes to be able to eat and then spends most of her time
basking. A home in the SE would suit this tort best. She will require both
indoor and outdoor accommodation.

Popsy was passed onto the current keeper by a lady who purchased him in Croydon Market in the 1950’s with two other tortoises; another male Ibera and a male Hermanns and has lived with them ever since. The current keeper is unaware of any health problems.

Tomassina is a female North African spur thighed tortoise approx 47 years old. Currently located in Benfleet, Essex. There have been no known health issues and is used to successful yearly hibernations. She is seeking a secure sunny garden with other TGG's and an experienced keeper of this breed is required. Her current owners travel a lot and therefore feel it is better for her to be in a permanent home.

REHOMED! - Spur-Thighed Tortoise (Ibera) : Male - (Charlie)
Charlie, an absolutely stunning Spur-Thighed Tortoise (Ibera), and is currently located in South Croydon, Surrey. The current keeper is looking for the very best home available and we will be working closely with her to find the right home,
Charlie was passed onto the current keeper by a lady who purchased him in Croydon Market in the 1950’s with two other tortoises; another male Ibera and a male Hermanns and has lived with them ever since. The current keeper is unaware of any health problems.
Charlie is looking for a home where all his needs can be met. He’s a stunning example of an Ibera and weighs 1.8kgs – so quite a good size.

We have 2 x young Testudo hermanni hermanni tortoises for rehoming. They were previously rehomed from us by a TPG member but have both proved to be male and will cause problems among the settled group. Rosie and Jim will need to be rehomed separately unless the intention is for them to be housed eventually with a large group of females. They are already squabbling. We have been informed that they are both eating well. Currently located in Kent.

Squirt is a female Horsfield tortoise approx 6 years old. Currently located in Rugby, Warwickshire. She has no known health issues but would benefit from a beak and claw trim. One of her claws has been damaged due to her digging at the corners of the viv she was previously kept in. Rehoming her has been a difficult decision for her current owners but they cannot provide a suitable outdoor set-up for her and feel she would be better cared for by an experienced keeper of this breed.

REHOMED!!! - Horsfield : Female - appx 15 Years Old (Lady Soznica)
Lady Soznica is looking for a new home.
She is about 15 years old and is a Russian Tortoise (Testudo horsfieldi)
Current owners have had her since she was tiny. In recent years she has become lethargic and been hibernating for too long. Several visits to the vet have revealed no illness and so her lack of condition has been put down to her current living accommodation being too cold at night. She is currently being nursed back to full health at the Royal Vetinary College with a feeding tube. She will soon return to a new indoor enclosure for this winter only when she must not be allowed to hibernate.
Sozzy needs a new home as her current owner is spending increasing amounts of time abroad. She normally eats well and enjoys roaming around the garden. Current owner will deliver her to a suitable new home anywhere in the country – their only concern is her future health and happiness! She is much loved!
