vet inWarks
Posted: 05/01/2011 by adie.k

Hi all. Does any body know of a good tortoise vet in Warwickshire? If so I would be glad of the name/number. We have a two year old herman, and he is not putting on weight as would have hoped. Garden feeding has been a little tricky lately, because of the snow; but he is still munching away on cabbage and other leaves. I want to get him checked for worms, but would prefer to go to a vet that knows what they are on about.  Any information woulkd be gratefully received. Thanks. Adie

Hi Adie,

I'm afraid I don't know of any, unless any other members know of any?

There are a couple of Vet lists ours:-

http://www.tortoise-protection-group.org.uk/site/157.asp

and the BCG Vet List:-

http://www.britishcheloniagroup.org.uk/vetscorner/vetlist.htm

Unfortunately, neither list a vet in Warwickshire. There maybne a vet closeby on either of the lists depending where in Warwickshire you are located

HTH

Kindest Regards

Darren

I used that vet, but wasnt impressed.  I travel to Stoke-on Trent and use Hannah Bould, she is excellent and well worth the travel.
