Hi i have a herm tortoise i just wanted some advice regarding shedding of skin, his diet has not changed since he has started & want to know if some shedding is normal or if i need to take him to a vet

Hi Julie,

Do you mean a Hermanns tortoise?? It is completely natural for a tortoise to shed their skin and you may find this is more obvious around the neck area. It is nothing to worry about.
