Hi all

Please help ... I am new to tortoise care and have had lots of help from Darren from TPG. I have a 2 seven month old hatclings and one is doing very well, active, growing at a good rate and shell is nice a strong. However the other one has a very soft shell. This hasnt always been the case, she has always been smaller but has had a firm strong shell it has just started to soften over the last few days and now its spongy all over, so much so I have to be really careful lifting her. Anyone got experience in this ?!!?! is a visit to the vet required ?

Hi lee, this is the TPG, Darren is a mod on here, it sounds to me as though an urgent visit should be made to a tortoise specialist vet, whereabouts are you, we can see if there is a recommended vet in your area.
