Hi...I have a slighty overweight 5 month old Horsfield, At nearly 60g, I really would like some help with measuring him. I must start getting records/data on paper for me to store. But I need to know where to start. Ive just started looking about but I have no idea on the terms lol so I think I need to learn some more :) HELPPP please Thanks Claire&Teddy

Heres how to measure Straight Carapace Length and weigh correctly. http://www.tortoise-protection-group.org.uk/site/files/Weighing%20&%20measuring.pdf
These in combination can be measured against the McIntyre ratio for Horsfields to see how your tortoise measures up!
