Hi, we dont recommend you let the torts wander around the house for this reason it isnt a safe or natural environment for them, he can probably feel the heat from the radiator and wants to bask under it, but cant!  I would keep him in his tabletop and let him bask under a proper basking lamp and UV light.

Hi Vivienne

Thanks for getting back to me so quick and for your advice, I will keep him (Norman) in his tabletop from now on, he has got a proper basking lamp I just thought I would let him wander around to give him more exercise. Thanks again.

Hi Lynda,

Has Norman settled now?  How old is he?  I would love to see a pic of him.
