Tortoise sometimes "sicks" back food and then squeals.  Was asleep the other day and started squealing.  Help.

I will ask a few questions of that is ok.

What species is your tortoise and how old are they?

Is it possible that they could have eaten something in the garden that they shouldn't have done?  Tortoises will eat things that are not good for them.

Is your vet a reptile specialist? Have you booked an appointment to see a vet about this problem?

It is worrying that your tortoise is being sick, this is not something that they normally do. If you have not seen a vet I would advise that you see one ASAP.
