Do torts shed thier skin or is this a stupid question. My tort seems to have a lot of flakey skin on her legs and neck, it's only on the soft skin were it's under the shell if that makes sense. I was bathing her once a day but have dropped her down to 3 baths a week, should I start doing it daily again?

Hi Winnie, yes torts do shed their skin, it is does look bad when you first see it, it is best to just let it come off on its own, dont be tempted to pull it off. Bathing should help to keep the flaking skin supple while its being shed.
