Mature male N.African Spur-Thighed Tortoise (Sam) - Runcorn Cheshire
Posted: 09/08/2009 by TPGDarren

We are looking for a home for Sam, a mature male N. African Spur-Thighed Tortoise (Testudo Graeca Graeca – TGG). Sam has lived together with Ali (also a TGG) and Nigel  (a Hermanns) – also listed – for a number of years. They are currently in Runcorn, Cheshire, though there is no preference as to what location they are rehomed to – so long as a good long-term home is found. If you would like to be considered to rehome Sam, please contact the rehoming team at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Sam – TGG - Runcorn" – please specify whether you would like to be considered to rehome both Sam & Ali or either. Please do not apply through this forum. The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website:-

http://www.tortoise-protection-group.org.uk/site/131.asp

you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email. If you experience any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply. Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that if you are successful in your application, you will consider a donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however occasionally this has occurred; therefore as a non profitable group we rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Kindest Regards
Darren

Hi,

I am very interested in rehoming any of these tortoises, i have two horsefield tortoises of my own and vast experience of looking after tortoises as my moms tortoise recently past away at the age of 90, so at the age of 40 i have known tortoises all of my life. I live in the wolverhampton area would you possibly consider me for rehoming a tortoise?

Best wishes Amanda
