Can anyone help with advice on my newly acquired tortoise which has been badly fed and looked after - he is approx 3 years old - very timid - has a long beak (needs trimming) but he so scared of everything.  He is eating very little and just hides away most of the time - probably needs a visit to a vet, if you could possibly recommend one in or around Leominster.  thanks Julie

Hello,

Before consulting a vet, I'd get it settled & feeding, minimise handling.

It's essential to first know which species it is ? If you don't know please Post photos.
