Beak problem

Just noticed my tortoise has broken his beak look a bit bloody round edge but not much he's still eating and only seems to have broken it back to normal length should I panic

Don't panic, but in a few weeks when it has settled down, take it to a vet who will trim it professionally - click on the"Vets and …….." box.

Overgrowth is usually caused by feeding soft food, such as lettuce. A diet of plants, (mainly 'weeds') with course stems is ideal - something to gnaw on.
