Hi, I have two two year old Horsefield tortoises and they've always been quite healthy and happy. My first question is... Allen (the male tortoise) doesn't always blink his eyes at the same time. It's like he winks to blink instead of actually blinking. Should I be worried about this? My second question is... I was told I couldn't hibernate my tortoises until they're about five, I just want to check that this is true. Thank you for your time.

Hello, Winking is no blinking problem. Re. hibe., how long have you had them & can you post their weight records from 'Day1' if you have them please. You say that they are 2yrs old, the problem is that if they are from a pet dealer, they will be imported & they can only guess their age. Provide all the info. you can please & I can advise you better re. hibe.. A few photos as well if you can. Regards, Tom
