My Tortoise has suddenly become very ill, I have taken her to my vets but they do not know what is wrong. She had some very strange white mucus diarrhoea that smelt horrid. She was drinking tons also. They gave her some Burrell but I am not sure it is doing much at all. Got her to eat a dandelion leaf today but is no where near hear self at all. Can anyone give any advice really worried I am going to loose her. Thanks Sam

You need to give a lot more detail please.
Species, age, how long you've had it, it's weight records, how are you keeping it (as much detail as poss) any thing else you think is relevant. Do you mean Baytril?
If a tortoise drinks a lot, it is not a sign of illness.

You have'nt bothered to provide more detail.
My guess is that the white substance included urates. The tort. was drinking a lot, you say, this suggests it was dehydrated.
Perhaps it lives in a vivarium, they are NOT suitable for tortoises.
