mating my spur thighs
Posted: 14/10/2013 by phoebe

Hi

I have 2 spur thigh females since 1967. Both have laid eggs last and this year- all infertile.  I would like to change their borrowed husband as he is not much good at the job.  I would use the father of my two hatchlings.  How long should they be together for success and should this be immediately after hibernation? The first marriage was a mistake as I was looking after a friends torty while they were on holiday, as both of  mine laid eggs with no problem I would like to have a decendent of mine.  My hatchlings parents have been in England since 1945 and can still produce fertile eggs
