Bertie, believed to be a male, Horsfield Tortoise, purchased in 2005 when he was approx 2 years old at the time making him 9/10. Bertie weighed 98 grammes when the current keeper took him on and now weighs 843 grammes. Bertie is in good health and has never had any concerns or cause to seek medical advice / attention. 

Despite being very saddened to see Bertie leave the current keepers would like us to find a new home for him following a few encounters with the family cat. Bertie is currently located in Manchester

I have a large suitable garden which would be greta and i have a conserentry which is not classes as a conserventry no more people say its a large tortoise house it is great for tortoises i have been offerng my hoe to tortoises for six years now and i think Bertie would get great accomodation and plenty of attension.
