All the breeders listed have been verified as genuine breeders. You will always receive the correct advice and ongoing support. Please do look for genuine UK Bred tortoises.

We also have a new section where our UK Breeders can advertise their babies:-

Hi Colin & Sofia,

Best to contact a reputable breedr in your area. Unfortunately it is difficult to ascertain who is genuine, so we have compiled a list of genuine breeders and have taken great time and care in checking everyone out:-

HiClick and drag me down to the editor

I have just spent hours reading up on tortoises as my mother has decided she would like one, or two at most. We have very little garden, and what we do have is graveled. In the past we have owned rabbits and Guinea Pigs, and we currently own 5 ponies and 6 chickens, which are named after types of curry.Click and drag me down to the editor As I live in West Cumbria, the average rainfall is well over 1 meter and we either drown or freeze into hibernation during winter. And autumn. And spring. You get the picture.
I would hugely appreciate any advice as I am in Year 9 and my youngest brother is only Year 3.
Preferably, an ideal tortoise would be small, not a burrower and it would be great if they didn't hibernate.
