spur thigh

My 7 yr old 7 daughter has two spur thighs 2 1/2 yrs old

I have recently noticed that one  seems to have small light couloured swirls in the middle of the shell panels (scutes?) and the edge of the shell seems translucent. he eats well, only a mixture of weeds, gets a bath once a week and spends days outside and nights indoors and is generally active.

should I be worried???

Hi
I would not worry, they are grow rings. At 2.5 yrs old I would bath them everyday if you can, to make sure they are well hydrated. What do you have for the indoor set-up?

We have semi open top viv with the standard heat lamp and daylight lamp thermometers and ventilation fansto control temperature and humidity (I am a ventilation engineer), but they only spend the nights indoors generally, unless its winter.

I looked this morning as they woke up and both od them are like this the marks are in the middle of the shell panels and look like little worm tracks (squiggles) but they eat and poo well.

Thanks for the advice

Ill just keep an eye on them
