her skin is being peeled off. also her shell have white wide stripes (like in the photo) is this normal ?
I need also to mention that she used to live with other peoples who treated it bad and there is lot of breaks in her shell. does this require special care?

I really needed to say that yes your tortoise does need to see a vet, but only one that specialises in tortoises. Have a look at the "Vets & Health issues" on the left hand side

yes i went to a vet. and he told me that she have shortage in vitamin a. he described some medicine. but the problem is that she caught a cold and she doesn't eat. I don't know what to do.
Vet told me that I have to keep her wormed and she should be ok and start eating.

Hi, how is your tortoise now?  Does she have bubbles coming from her nose?  If so, you need to get her to a vet that specialises in tortoises, does your vet appear on our list?  Do let us know how you get on
