Posted: 02/01/2012 by Helena.sid

Hi my torty Sid is about 2 years old this is the first winter we have had him as we have Rescued him. He was seen my a specialist vet before the winter set in and I was advised to over winter him. He said hes weight was good and overall healthy. In the last few weeks he has become less active, sleeps most of the day, doesn't got near his water bowl and isn't eating his food. Iv tried kale, cucumber, all sorts of cabbage and
spring greens I don't really know what else to do please help.

That is good that you have had him checked over and he has a clena bill of health Click and drag me down to the editor at least you know he is not ill.

He's in a tortoise table, I don't have anything to record the temp at present. I have the uv and heat light close together. I'm so worried about Sid he's completely gone off his food and he is so sleepy.
