Anyone else seen the tortoise trusts article on feeding? Some of the photos are quite disturbing, goes to show the importance of a correct diet. | |

Hi, yes I have, and there loads on google images too. Hard to believe these creatures lived at all with their deformities. I fear things will only get worse as more and more torts are available, and "off the shelf" food pellets are relied on as an easy option. We must spread the good word at every opportunity, to avoid hundreds, if not thousands of unwanted, deformed unhappy tortoises in the future. Ideas welcomed on an informed way to prevent a bleak future... Regards, David nr York. | |
