Tortoise shop based in yorkshire anyone heard of it, have any opinions? They say they deal in captive bred tortoises?

Just had a look and the first thing that jumped out at me was "Schools out special offer"   personally that has and would put me off looking at the site any further.
Also I hope the UK delivery doesn't refer to sending out tortoises in courier vans!!!
It is a shame if they are a good site, but to me they are not wordings I would like to see. Are you thinking of getting a tortoise?

Compared to many ads for torts, this looks better than most. If you read their customer comments, they seem reputable at least. We must be aware that none of us  is 100% correct in our beliefs, or provided conditions. I have kept torts for over 40 years. My provision now versus then is vastly different...we all learn through experience, and none of us is perfect.

Yes I am thinking of getting a tort, probably a Hermanns or Horsefield, but I want to do things right, I dont want to do anything which might in anyway support cruelty or mistreatment of these amazing creatures, but have had no relies from the breeders I have tried to contact.
