Am I doing something wrong?
Posted: 19/07/2011 by kazza

Last year my 10 year old spur thighed tort laid 6 eggs. We set up an incubator with correct humidity and temperature but nothing happened. This year she laid 9 eggs four weeks ago. We have incubated them but I'm not hopeful again as I can't see anything in the eggs. The torts are 10 year old, male and female and mate frequently. Is there anything else I should be doing? Temperature and humidity are as recommended on your site. It's so disappointing. Should I be able to see anything by now? I would be grateful for any advice,

Karen

Hi Sorry

I don't know much about incubating eggs personally, but I have read some information on it, and one of the problems can be lack of oxygen
