Hi, I am sorry to hear you have lost your tortoise, is there any chance she could have got underneath it or climbed out (they are very good climbers when they want to!).   So make sure you keep checking your garden.

If after all searches you cant find her, contact all the vets in your area, your local RSPCA, and put notices in shops etc.

We recommend you also contact John Hayward from the National Theft Register for Zoological wildlife Investigations who runs a register of all such cases.  His contact details are:

Mobile:  07802 404929
Pager:  07626 120425
e-mail:  jh@ntr.supanet.com

I hope she comes back soon, keep us informed, regards Vivienne

There is no way she could have climbed over the yop as the penn has chicken wire on the top, and there was no signs of her digging a way out. She would normally have been in her vivarium but because it was a hot day we decided to let her have a run in the garden, i'll keep searching my garden but i have already been to the vets and told my neighbours, ill let you know if she turns up. Thanks
