Do i have to hibernate my tortoises if they live indoors over the winter under light  my tortoises are 2 years old

if i dont hibernate my torts will it decrease there life span does anyone know and can they live a healthy life indoors on a table thru winter and outdours during the day in the summer but brought in on an evening

Hi,

Tortoises are programmed to hibernate and as they get older you will find it more impossible to keep them awake over the winter period.

Can i ask why you dont hibernate them?
