Hello everyone...I have just joined this site.

 I am in need of some help and advice. I have been looking for a tortoise for some time now and to be honest I would rather adopt a tortoise and give it a loving home.

If anyone has any ideas or contacts I would be much obliged. I am most interested in Horsfield Tortoises.

I don't know where you would adopt a horsfield from, but the advice that I can give you is buy from a reputable breeder not a pet shop, we have recently brought a little horsfield from a pet shop and he is amazing but he has not had the best start in life. When you compare photos from this site to our little tortoise you can definitely see the difference.  Good luck with your search.
