Hi, It looks to me like it could be a Sulcata but im not 100% sure as the pic is so small. If you click on "The Tortoise" in the lefthand column there you will find "Care Sheets". All the advice on this site is accurate. See if anyone else responds to your post to see if they ID your tortoise or if i am correct Ali

Oh blimey!!! Sulcatas are the big ones yeah??? Crikey, this is going to require a lot of research i think! I thought it might be a Leopard, but i think you might be right! Still can't believe someone just left the poor wee thing in the gutter, grrrrr

Hi, Your pic isnt coming up that clear on my pc but it might be me at fault as when i scroll down the pic disappears, this happened to me the other day when i was looking at something not sure if anyone else has this problem on the forum? Its probably best to send a pic via email, if you dont want to stress the tortoise then maybe wait till its settled abit then take more pics, a front pic and looking straight down on the shell plus the tail end if poss, you can send them to my addy if you like and if im not sure i can forward it on to someone who will know. My email is ali@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk Ali
