Hi can anyone please tell me the Shortest time between mating and hopefully fertilised

eggs being laid for a Greek Spur thighed tortoise please thanks Les

Hi Lesley,

We've had two separate clutches of eggs being laid just two weeks apart. I would guess this is probably the shortest estimation, though it can obviosuly be longer depending on calcium levels, access to UVB etc.

Hi Darren many thanks for this info

I have kept Tortoise,s for many years but have never before mated one up

I know Tortoise can lay a couple of years after mating but could not find out how quick she might lay them so fingers crossed for the next few weeks
