After reading some of the posts i think i have been advised and purchased the wrong heat lamp. I'm using a red heat lamp is this bad!!!??? Can anyone give me a name for a good heat lamp. I have a separte UVB light.

Hi Cazza, you dont need the red heat lamp, just use a normal spot bulb from somewhere like B&Q or Wilkinsons, they have the silver round the base which directs the light downwards.
