Hi, I'm a bit confused, not sure which make and wattage of mercury vapour lamp to buy. Getting a 6 yr old Hermanns tortoise soon from a friend of a friend who's emigrating abroad . The tortoise already goes outside in the summer but lives in the shed. I unfortunately haven't got a shed but have bought an outside enclosure made of wood with good ventilation:- L 40" H 25" D25" It's under the car port and is totally protected, my husband has wired it up and it's ready to put a lamp in. Please can anyone help and advise me, I think I've been reading too much about all the different lamps on the net (ie. like on uvguide.co.uk) and need help. Thanks. Peta

Hi Peta, i tend to favour the 120 watt bulbs but if i was you i would give Darren at Kimbos a ring, he is great at telling you exactly what you need for your paticular set up.
