Hi all ive been putting my two outside alot but one of them keeps eating stones yes bath them every other day eating well an when i say bath i mean bath ie 15-20min any ideas ??????

Hi there, I suspect a mineral deficiency here. Amazingly torts often instinctively know when they are deficient, and try to rectify by picking up grit etc. Birds do the same in the wild. Try adding crushed limestone, or limestone flour  via a very moist food such as over-ripe tomatoes, for a couple of feeds each week. Torts feeding outside in my enclosure cannot fail to eat soil etc, on moist food, it just adheres naturally. I hope this helps. If not, seek out a good reptile vet in your area. Try simple solution first if other behaviour is fairly normal and beast not significantly failing. All the best from York
