leopards for rehoming - Newcastle
Posted: 26/08/2008 by tpgadmin

Hiya

The TPG have been approached to find a home for two beautiful leopard tortoises aged approx. 3 and 5 years.  They are pet shop bought but have been well cared for by their present owner and they come with no health issues.  They are both fed on a correct diet of grasses and weeds and are housed in an open topped enclosure.  If you feel you can offer them a loving home then please complete an application form which you can download from the re-homing page of the web site which you will find in the green column to the left of this editing page.

If you have previously sent in an application form, let us know when you contact us, and tell us of any changes that might have taken place since you submitted the form.

Please do not post your request to re-home on this forum. All applications regarding these tortoises should be headed Newcastle Leopards and either sent by email to:
rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk or alternatively you can send by post to The TPG,
PO Box 1484,
Oxford,
OX3 3BQ.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that if you are successful in your application, you will consider a donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however
occasionally this has occured, therefore as a non profitable group we rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Tortoise Protection Group.

Sorry for the delay, things have been rather hectic on the re-homing side.

Thank you to everyone who applied to re-home these 2 leopards, we had lots of enquiries and a very difficult decision to make.  We can confirm that they have now been re-homed with an experienced member and we wish them the very best.

If you were unsuccessful on this occasion, please do not that put you off applying on future occasions as tortoises are looking for new homes all the time.

Again, thank you to everyone for your interest.

Jo
