Morning All,

I have just bathed Linford, he has done a poo n wee in the bath. The wee looks like egg yoke and there is quite a lot of poo or do I just think there is!!. He went back home but has not touched the leaves, I think he is so used to the other food, do I persevere or will he get hungry? don't want to starve him! Any ideas?

Sounds fine, tortoise wee is either clear, or with white stuff in it which is urates.  The important thing is that the urates doesnt become gritty or lumpy - this is a sign that the tortoise is becoming dehydrated and can lead to stones forming if not dealt with - easy to do, just up the bathing to twice daily.  They also generally dont poo everyday, so although it looks a lot, it doesnt happen every day!

Persevere with the good food, he will eat when he is hungry - dont give in, just avoid eye contact if it gets too difficult <g>
