hi everybody,

      i was looking for some new plants for my outdoor enclosure to make it more interesting, is there any plants anyone recommend, because im stuck on what to get them.

     i have 4 meditteranean spur thighed tortoises

these are some of the plants/bushes i use

For food

Pansies, Campanula,Lavatera,Mallows,Forget Me Nots,Petunias.

mind not many of them last long if the torts can reach them my biggies

have the whole garden so i try to put little picket type fences round some of the plants so that they last abit longer.

in the little ones enclosures i use the bendy little log hut/stick things to put round some plants so that they cant pig out all at once

for shade

Rosemary,Thyme, Lavender,Hebe

i know what you mean, i bought my little ones some pansies and they ate them all on the first day. I wanted a bigger plant that they can shade under but they can also eat. I've heard alot of people reccommend hebe and lavender so ill try them :D thanks alot. Brilliant ideas
