Any ideas for getting rid of Sawfly
Posted: 17/04/2010 by paul W

Hi all

At the risk of turning this into Gardner's Question Time I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas for dealing with Sawfly in the garden that isn't harmful to toroises - there was very minor infestation last year and the gooseberry bushes survived but I'd like to take preventative action now without putting Sammy and Georgie at risk. The old fashioned remedy seems to be soapy water but I don't know how much that would 'queer the pitch' for the torties.

As ever any suggestions - even if it's look on another site - are more than welcome :D

Thanks in advance

Paul
