Which is best in outdoor enclosure shed/greenhouse?. I know they both have pros and cons depending on time of year but was wondering if one is better then other.

Hi Winnie,

Both:-)

We have both here, sheds are much better when the weather is colder as they are easier to keep warm. The problem with sheds is they have no natural light, which can make tortoises lethargic. Greenhouses are excellent when they heat up OK.

One solution is to have a shed with a polycarb roof, the walls are easier to insulate and they let in more light than a shed alone.

Can i just add that i only use greenhouses for my torts and they are both bubble wrapped to keep the heat in and work great with the right heating, bubble wrap is also good for security as you cannot see in from the outside.
