For anyone wanting some extra insulation for their tortoises, B&Q have all their rolled loft insulation at half price at the moment - I bought some stuff called space blanket which is a roll of the normal loft insulation, but in a plastic sleeve so the fibres are all contained, and it worked out at about £2.70 a roll - bargain!

Thanks Arlene- always handy to keep anyway incase you need it.. I believe if you see a bargain get it for a rainy day, especially if it is something you will use

I noticed that bought some more for the loft, good idea to use for the torts!  I also noticed that Focus had some loft insulation boards (bit like the Kingspan)  they were about 2-3 inches thick, I was thinking of getting some to put round the outside of the torts house in the greenhouse as extra insulation.
