What are they? Again!
Posted: 06/11/2009 by TraceyJacques

Hi there. Can any one help identify my new tortoises? We were given them by a neighbour his friend breeds them(we live in Spain) and are trying to find out which species to ensure we care for them correctly. They are about 5 cm long. http://photobucket.com/shami93

Hi !  Lovely looking tortoises.  I found your pics too small for me to be able to attempt an accurate ID.  Possibly Testudo Gracea Gracea but this might easily be wrong as I don't keep keep that species (mine are Hermanns).

I was able to get to the photos by pasting a copy of the link into the address bar and going into it that way.  Nice wee chaps -Jonathan

Hi Tracey,

We would need some better shots of the head and tail area to be sure if possible please?

Tiny pics of timy tortoises! The straight edges of the first vertebral scute says Testudo Gracea Ibera to me but bigger pic's would be great.
