Hello, have read that my tortoises can eat stinging nettles, when the sting has gone, do they need to be cooked to get rid of the sting first?

Hi,

I give stinging nettles neat to mine, I pick them wearing gloves and just pop them in and they eat them, the marginateds love them!!

I thought that you had to leave them for a day or so that they don't have a sting? Do you just put them straight in?
