hiya everyone having a few problems with shelby, she seems a bit off colour and she has slowed down she comes out about 10 oclock in the morning but she is,nt eating her dinner untill 8 at night then she go,s and sit in the corner digs down but not in her hut i wonder if feels a bit cold i,ve noticed it the last couple of nights i have a 120 megaray should i lower it a bit more the temperture at her basking spot is 27 and 22 at the other end of  home anyone got any ideas  love from ellen and shelby

Hi Ellen, we have had quite a few queries regarding this, torts do notice when the weather is starting to turn cold,  It would be a good idea as you say to lower the megaray to increase the temperature of the basking spot.  Eight at night is quite late for Shelby to be eating, what time do your lights come on and go off?

i put her lamp on about 7.30 in the morning and i like to turn off about 8 at night but because she so sluggish i hav nt been turning off till she beds down that can been between 10/12 which is late for her she alway went to bed about 7.oclock from ellen and shelby

Hi, I would stick to regular times, try and mimic nature 7.30am is ok, but most torts bed down by 5pm and you will find as the nights get darker, they will bed down earlier.
