Ceramic bulb
Posted: 29/08/2009 by tortoise7

Hi Guys
Wonder if you can help me?
I am going to try ceramic bulbs this winter for heating Keya & Molly's house and I will  need to buy a thermostat but not sure if I need one or two, I will explain the set up..Click and drag me down to the editor
There is one house, and inside it is divided by a partition quarter with mesh to allow the air flow and the rest a perspex door (Just to add that the bottom is wood so they can't see eachother) each section has their own double socket, and in the one socket they have a combined lamp each. I have brought 2 ceramic bulbs one for each section, and as I work all day and the weather can change, I want to set up a thermostat to regulate the temps. Now coming to my question, will I need to have a thermostat for each or can the 2 be run from the same thermostat? hope that makes sense
Thanks
Jane

Hi Jane

Im not too up on anything remotely technical <g> but the stat that I use can only has a socket for one lamp or heater, so I think you will either need to have 2 separate stats, or you can get single twin ones, which allow you to run 2 heaters at once

Hope this helps
