Hi,

You do not require an article 10 certificate to keep an annexe A tortoise. You do however require one to sell an annexe A tortoise and you should ensure you are given a certificate at the point of sale or a valid certificate number relating to the tortoise. If the tortoise was gifted (given) to you - this is perfectly OK.
