Male Russian/Horsfield - Kent
Posted: 06/07/2009 by TPGDarren

Hi

The TPG have been asked to find a home for a special Russian tortoise called Sergey.  Very little is known about Sergey. He was found wandering in a field with a broken leg and has now been nursed back to health. He is a little bumpy, but is a real lively character. He is still a bit picky with his food and is looking for a life-time home.

If you would like to offer Sergey a new home, please contact the rehoming team at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Russian/Kent' - please do not apply via this forum. The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website, you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email.  Any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that if you are successful in your application, you will consider a donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a
lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however occasionally this has occurred, therefore as a non profitable group we rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Kindest Regards

Darren

i have also shown interest in this little fella. Im sure someone who has been a member on here for longer will get him more than myself though.

Good Luck, he sounds lovely.

Hi

I think Darren has some pics, I know he was busy yesterday, but hopefully he will be able to load some up tonight.

Each application we receive will be carefully considered on its merits, and we will place Sergy in the home best suited to his individual circumstances.

all the best

Hi Barry

Can you email the rehoming team on rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk regarding Sergey - emails are always checked regularly, but if the rehoming team are busy we dont always get the chance to check the forum.

Many thanks

I understand that you are all very busy, and can't just contact people to let them know there e-mail went through alright, but if you could just this once that would be great because a least i know i am doing it right for next time.

Kind regards Barry
