Hello all! Thought I would introduce myself as I am new to this forum! My name is Lu and I have a 7 year old male hermanns tort called Squirt! Ive had him for the last 4 years over which he has entertainined me greatly!! Im currently trying to locate him a girlfriend or 2 as he has become rather fond of my plugs in my extention cable! I will try and add some photos once I figure out how too!

Yes he lives in my room in a indoor rabbit cage, although he pretty much lives outside in the summer! Im hoping to get a shed or a special room all for him and his friends (when I get some more) when I buy my own place next year funds allowing! | |

The rabbit cages are great aren't they? A lot of people seem to use them. I'm thinking of getting one too. Helen | |

Yeah the indoor rabbit cages are great, although he was in a tank when I first got him but then found out they are a no no! so he has been in it since! They are cheaper as well I think mine was about £40 I think. I got my toy 'squirt' from Asda when finding Nemo was out! It talks as well!!!! It says 'hheeeyyyyyyyy dduuuuddddeee!' and 'Nogin duudddeeee!' Its great!!! | |

Hello Lu, It's lovely to meet a new member of TPG. I adopted a little Hermann in February (from TPG) and am so so happy with him. I wanted a little Tort for a few years.. His name is Toto.. He also makes me laugh with his antics.. He is very active and is really enjoying the sunshine in the garden. (I'm bringing him indoors at 5pm ish though as it gets chilly ).... I am also hoping to find a friend or two for him. Squirt is lovely.... Welcome to TPG and I'm sure you'll enjoy the web site. love from Marilyn. x | |
(dont worry though I dont let him hurt himself! just let him run around my bedroom floor supervised!) He also likes to attack my slippers! He also likes looking at himself in the mirror! (typical male lol!)
