Hermann/Edinburgh
Posted: 24/03/2009 by TPGJo

We need to find a new home for a hermann male, approx 7 years old, currently living in Ediburgh.  He lives in a vivarium, on a substrate of straw and paper, and eats a diet of dandies, cress, vegetables and anything red!.  We don't have any pictures at present, but we do hope they will be available soon.  He is described as lively and active and loves climbing and digging.

If you would like to offer this tortoise a new home, please contact the rehoming team at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Hermann/Edinburgh'.  The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website, you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email.  Any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that
if you are successful in your application, you will consider a
donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any
donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a
lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have
rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however
occasionally this has occured, therefore as a non profitable group we
rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Hi, Can you e-mail the rehoming team regards your interest in this fellow. The TPG are all voluteers so on return from a long day at work will ALWAYS check the rehoming e-mails but might not have the time to check all the posts. Hope you understand as every applicant is important and we would hate for you to be overlooked. Good luck!

This tortoise has now found a loving new home, without having too far to travel.

Many thanks to all the big-hearted members who offered to rehome him.
