hi guys

i have an 11 yr old male horsfield whos really small for his age, about 4.5 inches long in his shell, was thinking of getting him a girlfriend but not sure if it's the best thing for him, or the new lady friend

any thoughts...i'd be grateful

Hi Metal chick,  with male horsfields I find it is best to keep them on their own, or with a group of 2-3 females, as they can be quite aggressive and persisently pester the females and it would certainly not be wise to put him with another male.
