Sounds like a match made in heaven Marilyn! The rehoming team work very hard trying to find 'for-ever' homes for the tortoises that come up for rehoming. It is a very emotion time for previous owners, especially for the elderly keepers who have had their much loved tortoise for most of their lives. They spend endless hours before they decide on the correct homes for these tortoises so well done! Can't wait to see the pictures! Enjoy Elaine

Hello Elaine, Thank you for your message.. Lovely to hear from you as usual. I know how I would feel if I had to rehome my precious little Toto. Devastated... I'll give his previous Mummy a few more days to grieve and then I'll give her a quick ring to let her know that Toto is well and being pampered like a Prince. It's a sensitive time for everyone .... Lots of BIG thank you's to everyone at TPG.. love from Marilyn. xx

I'm sure she will appreciate that Marilyn. It is amazing just how reassured a past keeper can be with an update or photo. I do my calls post and pre hibernation and normally a 'naughty' one in the summer when they all take it in turns to do something our of order: eating my 2" Sedum was last years antics. Enjoy Elaine

Hi Marilyn You are very welcome, and it is important for Toto's previous owner too, to know that he is being so well loved and cared for! Sedums are a great favourite in my garden too Elaine, I have to barricade them off, otherwise they get eaten down to the ground! Arlene TPG
