Hi Marilyn, WELCOME to the group! Sorry i have been off line of late, I take it you have completed our rehoming form? I know it is very rewarding to rehome a tortoise, many are being bought in the spur of the moment and these creatures to deserve more! Glad you have found our site we have some friendly keepers on here that are more than willing to share the ups and sometimes downs of tortoise keeping. So feel free to ask away, that way we all learn. Good luck!

This forum is one of the best and when you get you tortoise you'll find the advice given here is excellent. I myself have only had my tortoises since the autumn and I am a complete novice keeper so I find this forum invaluable and login everyday. I sure you will too!

Hello Jane,    Lovely to hear from you.  I am hoping to adopt the little Tort called Toto.  He lives in Hertfordshire at the moment.   I prepared his torti table today (just in case he comes) ...and it looks very nice so far.  Toto is a Hermann.  I used to have Hermanns before, so am used to them.  I love all Torts.  Which species do you have ?....  Looking forward to hearing from you again.  love Marilyn. x

Thank you.  Yes I have completed the application form and are now being considered for adopting a beautiful little Tort. I'm SO happy.  I have wanted a Tort.for so long...
