Hermann/Liverpool
Posted: 13/02/2009 by TPGJo

We have been asked to find a 'forever' home for a little hermann, appox 2 and a half years old, currently living in Liverpool.  This little one has been living in a glass tank for the past 2 years eating salad and veg daily, so he/she really needs to move home rather quickly. He/she is still really small and unable to be sexed.

If you would like to offer this tortoise a new home, please contact us at rehoming@tortoise-protection-group.org.uk with the email subject line 'Hermanns /Liverpool.  The rehoming application form can be found in the Rehoming Section of this website, you will need to download it into your documents, complete it and attach it to your email.  Any problems, please let us know, and if you have already completed an application, please let us know when you apply.

Please note: There is no fee charged for re-homing but we hope that
if you are successful in your application, you will consider a
donation to help towards the TPG's work. Please be assured that any
donation no matter how small will be spent working towards making a
lasting difference to tortoises. Not all tortoises that we have
rehomed in the past have required veterinary treatment, however
occasionally this has occured, therefore as a non profitable group we
rely on your generosity to help our cause.

Many thanks to those who applied to rehome this little one.  This tortoise needed to be moved rather quickly and thankfully a very experienced member came forward and he/she has already 'moved home'.

We really do appreciate the amount of big-hearted members who are prepared to drop everything to help out, without you none of this would be possible.
