what is the next best thing for torts other than dandelions? they are rather scarce in my area at the moment!

Nice to hear from you I hope all is well.

I can still find a few dandies but there's more of narrow leaf plantain at present.  I'm also finding bittercress and some small sow thistle.  I am using leaves of campanula, winter pansy flower and leaves and just a little fresh grass.  Other than that I buy and wash thoroughly romaine lettuce, radicchio, lambs lettuce, and friscee lettuce, water cress.  A bag a Floretti crispy salad contains most of these salad veggies.

I'm sure someone else will give you some other ideas.
