My son would really like a tortoise for his birthday, I have done a lot of reading and I am wary about where to get my tortoise from. The problem I have is that all the breeders listed on here are too far away from me to go and collect. Any advice or other possible places of purchase? I live in North Wales.

Also any advice about housing, food, bedding or best place to get them would be greatly appreciated.
